About the role
The Inside Sales Project Manager plays a critical role in the sales process working cooperatively with both internal and external clients ensuring NEXPERIA delivers on its commitment to exceptional customer service and sales support. By working collaboratively and cross regionally the ISPM creates transparency into the various stages of the sales process with a goal of meeting and exceeding revenue expectations and maximizing every opportunity to have a deeper engagement with target customers. ISPM is an integral member of the regional sales Organization and ensures we build upon NEXPERIA’s leadership position as a global powerhouse.
What you will do
Support Function
- Support sales regions to meet monthly / quarterly / annual sales goals established by the Sales Management
- Establish and maintain the highest possible support relations with customers (internal and external) by effectively employing the highest level of skills with regard to the knowledge of customers business and organization and knowledge of NEXPERIA internal processes
- Provide solutions and alternatives to customers to meet their shipment needs.
- Provide direction and solutions on process improvements.
- Act as focus for field and customers in dealing with relevant functional departments, i.e., commercial marketing, logistics, and demand planning.
- Demonstrate proficiency in multiple support software suites.
- Train peers and customers as appropriate. Serve as a mentor, and support for internal teams and departments.
- Lead project teams and serve as team member for special projects to drive continuous improvement and the team’s performance
- Create a solid working relationship between cross regional teams (internal and external)
- Work with both AMEC and GC account managers to maximize qualified serviceable business to revenue.
Forecasting
- Aggregate forecast from the designated accounts and their relevant supply and manufacturing chain to create a single one source of truth to allow for accurate planning and supply
- In collaboration with the sales and marketing team to establish smart stocking programs with channel partners to allow for continuity of supply
- Isolate relevant forecast variants to review with Account Managers and NEXPERIA supply chain experts
Order Management
- Review of orders, assisting with pull-ins and expedites.
- Reviewing forecast to backlog to ensure order coverage
- Watching for “leakage” on dual sourced products
- Reviewing safety stock levels
- Coordinating efforts with teams in Asia (evening conference calls)
- In person reviews with key accounts
What you will need
- University background / education preferably in operations or business administration
- Minimum 5-7 Years in Inside Sales Support preferably in the Semiconductor or Electronics Industry
- Ability to understand business needs from stakeholders in order to drive functional requirements
