Job Purpose
The Inland Delivery Analyst is responsible for arranging execution of landside operations between customers and third-party logistics and customs brokerage partners to ensure service levels of clients are met daily. Also enhances communication and traceability of inbound shipments for our customers oriented to outstanding service delivery and process optimizations. This position will be based in our Colombia City office.
Key responsibilities
Coordinates inland services of shipments with landside logistics providers (trucking companies) to ensure containers are delivered on time.
Provides customer service to assigned customers
Assists customers with questions and requests for information
Completes billing timely.
Assists customers with questions and requests for information
Communicates with the client regarding any discrepancies and approvals/rejections of documents
Promote joint work with vendors to provide outstanding customer service experience through vendor management.
Maintain internal and external stakeholders informed about logistics service performance periodically through KPI.
Reports service failure issues and other challenges to supervisor.
Creates and supports improvement initiatives on inland operations processes.
Monitors and resolves problems to ensure movement of idle containers.
Tracks and reports potential demurrage.
Maintains data integrity through accurate inputs/updates to all related
systems.
Required experience & skills
Overall landside logistics experience for +2 years
Import and export customs technicalities knowledge +2 years
Customer service experience considered as a plus
Professional career degree or higher
Outstanding organizational skills
Customer focus
Teamwork and interpersonal savvy
Data savvy
Solid computer skills (including but not limited to Excel, Power Point)
Good written and verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English.
