Inhouse Service Technician (F/M)

We are looking for an Inhouse Service Technician (F/M) based in Madrid.

Delivers very high professional Service activities (Maintenance, Repairs, Calibration etc.) in order to provide an optimum Service support to our customers to achieve loyalty. Contributes to achieve specific Service related targets as defined for revenues, profit, service order volume, etc. - while complying with internal rules and practices. Acts within general Service policies, business processes, procedures and rules, and generally promotes them.

Grow with us - Your responsabilites

  • You will perform calibrations and preventive maintenance, as well as repairs.
  • One of your tasks will be to provide repair and service estimates.
  • You will be expected to complete all related documentation for each service performed. Including SAP service reports, calibration documents, and test certification.
  • Strict adherence to all site Health and Safety requirements as mandated by the customer and Sartorius.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Must be able to stand or work standing up for long periods of time (8 hours).
  • You will perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor that fall into the knowledge and skills requirements of the position.
     

What will convince us

  • You have a High School Diploma/GED or equivalency.
  • You possess 2+ years’ experience using test equipment, including multimeters and/or troubleshooting.
  • You have Electro-mechanical experience and/or training.
  • Experience with installation of software and firmware updates/testing.
  • Experience with customer maintenance/best practice training.
  • Must have recently worked with and can measure AC/DC voltages.
     

We Value:

  • You have a good understanding of mechanical and electrical schematics.
  • Repair and troubleshooting experience.
  • You possess hands-on experience calibrating and repairing equipment, motors, electromechanical assemblies, etc.
  • Proficiency with computers using Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • High degree of mechanical aptitude and analytical skills.
  • Ability to use small hand tools.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and establish sound relationships with team members and customers.
  • A good understanding of mechanical/electrical drawings.
  • Proven problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
