3rd Shift - Ingredient Receiver Rail Operator FM02
Sunday thru Thursday 10:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m (approximate, must be somewhat flexible)
Starting Pay: $19.20/hr plus $2.00/hr shift premium
The responsibilities of this job include but are not limited to the following: the unloading of trucks and railcars as they are received or as space permits; the operation of the locomotive/track mobile in a safe and productive manner; set railcars up for unloading and complete proper paperwork and inventories; operate all receiving equipment properly and in a safe manner; maintaining acceptable performance in assigned housekeeping areas and of outside grounds around control room.
Job Summary
1. Ability to operate a locomotive/track mobile to move rail cars by following established procedures and/or specifications.
2. Ability to coordinate activities such as switching cars from one track to another, coupling railcars together, and/or clearances.
3. Ability to handle switches and hand brakes in accordance with company programs.
4. Ability to walk the length of the track to monitor track conditions and report any irregularities to management.
5. Ability to accurately record data.
6. Ability be able to operate scales and document incoming ingredients through the ticketing system.
7. Ability to operate equipment to unload feed ingredients and route to appropriate storage silo.
8. Ability to obtain and run quality analysis on required incoming ingredients.
9. Ability to lift and use hand tools to assist in unloading of ingredients.
10. Ability to perform minor maintenance duties using hand tools.
11. Able to work in hot, dry, dusty, wet and cold environments. Heavy exposure to ingredient dust and inclement weather.
12. Ability to work holidays, weekends, and flexible hours as required based on demand scheduling.
13. Ability to work in elevated areas and follow all safety procedures.
14. Able to sign and abide by the Company Biosecurity Guidelines including an agreement to avoid any avian species.
15. Maintain good housekeeping including service areas.
16. Communicate to all levels of Operations including Customers and Vendors both orally and in writing where required.
17. Follow and Operate within all Tyson Health and Safety protocols.
18. Able to Lift up to 60 lbs. and/or up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
19. Stand, Sit, Walk, Climb Ladder/Stairs with the ability to sustain physical activity throughout the day.
20. Complete all other tasks assigned by management.
Requirements:
Must not own, possess, or otherwise maintain any domestic, wild or exotic fowl to be considered.
Example: (yard chickens, pheasants, parakeets, parrots, etc.) will have to sign a Bio-security agreement attesting to this.
Only applicants from the following counties in AR will be considered: Washington, Benton and Madison, Adair County in OK, or McDonald County in MO, or within a 50-mile radius of the Johnson Rd Feed Mill.
6 Months Operator experience with one employer in the previous 12-months. 6 months clerical experience and/or feed mill preferred. Knowledge of DOT trucking procedures preferred. High school degree or equivalent preferred.
Must have a Driver’s License and a Clean Driving record

Rehire criteria is a minimum waiting period of 180 days.
