Major Duties:

  • You will manage the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of large-scale information technology, data analysis and system security projects and programs (Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS)/Sea Launch Cruise Missile-Nuclear (SLCM-N)).
  • You will coordinate network architecture approvals, site installation designs, and verifying operational IT environments.
  • You will lead the assessment, design, and implementation of complex business and technical projects, solutions, infrastructure, network, and system deployments to ensure strict compliance with DoW, DON, FAR and command cyber security policies
  • You will employ quantitative analysis of alternatives and modeling to evaluate IT solutions, defines KPIs, performs statistical validation, and translates complex system data into actionable, executive-level reports and dashboards.
  • You will maintain an enterprise-wide view of organizational strategy, coordinating closely with network, data, security, and cloud architects to optimize capabilities and resolve integration and interoperability issues.
  • You will manage and mitigate IT and cybersecurity risks across enterprise and weapon systems, ensuring secure interoperability and the integration of Information Assurance throughout the Life Cycle Management of application and system development.

Qualifications: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 (GS-11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing quantitative analysis of alternatives (AoA), mitigating enterprise-level cyber security risks, directing multi-disciplinary technical teams in system architecture governance, and translating complex operational data into executive-level metrics and briefings to advance organizational missions and resolve critical IT issues. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving. 1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Optimize the functionality of networks and systems; conducts functional and connectivity testing to ensure continuing operability; implements systems security plans and policies and preventive maintenance schedules. 2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: schedules maintenance activities during off-peak usage periods; oversees installation, implementation, configuration, maintenance, and support of network components; 3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Liaison with clients on all matters related to network operations and support; Prepare and present reports; Participate in the IT capital planning process. 4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: conducts functional and connectivity testing to ensure continuing operability; provides ongoing optimization and problem solving support; resolves problems, such as defective hardware components or corrupted software; diagnose and recover failed systems.
