Job Summary: You will serve as a INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST of IMMEDIATE OFC OF CHIEF OF NVL OPS.
Major Duties:
Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of information technology related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined: 1. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. 4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. In addition to your experience demonstrating the four competencies above, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector that demonstrates knowledge of and experience assessing and authorizing cross domain systems, interagency technical policies, monitoring cyber security activities, and ensuring information security/cybersecurity guidelines, principles, and practices are followed according to Standard Operating Procedures. Examples of specialized experience includes: 1) Expert knowledge of cybersecurity, information assurance, and information technology. (2) Skill in applying federal information systems security protocols sufficient to develop knowledge management, program plans, and standards.
