The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Information Technology Senior Manager to join the Boeing Defense, Space and Security Product Lifecycle Management team in Hazelwood, MO; El Segundo, CA; Everett, WA; Kent, WA; Mesa, AZ; or North Charleston, SC

Join our dedicated leadership team to help provide value to Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) and Boeing Global Services (BGS) programs by developing and deploying a service ready solution for Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).

Integrated Product Data Management (IPDM) is designed to support BDS common processes. IPDM will consist of one common image which will further enable the "design, build, and support anywhere" philosophy while supporting the reduction of Information Technology (IT) cost and infrastructure. This program is a combined effort of BDS Engineering, BGS, IT Product Systems, and Siemens.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Leads a large development team that includes direct employees, contractors and purchase services

  • Provides direction and coordination of developers utilizing the latest development processes for configuration, data mapping and workflow development on a large Integrated Product Data Management application

  • Understands software design across several programing languages

  • Manages and integrates employee and first-level manager activities across Information Technologies including infrastructure design and administration, application analysis and design, information management, architecture, computing security, computing project support and/or process analysis

  • Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, objectives

  • Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports

  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

  • Manages and provides developmental opportunities for employees and first-level managers

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 10+ years of experience within information technology

  • 10+ years of experience working in a cross functional environment with all levels in the business from individual contributors to executive leadership

  • 5+ years of experience in program management

  • 5+ years of experience working within an Agile development team

  • 5+ years of experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)

  • 3+ years of experience in a managerial role

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • 5+ years of experience in the Digital Transformation Environment (DTE)

  • Experience with Siemens Systems (Teamcenter, NX, etc)

  • Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) using appropriate code versioning and build/test automation tools

Summary pay range: $161,500 – $233,450
