About the role

Over the last few years, the Information Architect role has evolved far beyond its original focus on supporting One If Information Model. As the Information Architect, you will contribute by:

  • Leading the continuous enhancement of If’senterprisewide Information Architecture, including identifying capability gaps, proposing improvements, and shaping the evolution of the discipline.

  • Assessing the need for new roles, competencies, structures, processes or tools to strengthen how If manages and uses information and contributing to building those capabilities where needed.

  • Identifying, defining, and analysing how information assets support and accelerate business outcomes.

  • Engaging with business stakeholders across organization to understand priorities and ensure information assets reflect real business needs.

  • Continuing the work on standardizing information assets and enterprise data models at the right level of abstraction.

  • Ensuring consistent, high-quality information across systems and teams.

  • Translating business and analytics requirements into structured and well-defined information needs.

  • Helping steer initiatives toward optimal information usage and architecture.

  • Contributing to the development of One If Information Model and its roadmap.

  • Providing a clear future-state perspective that is independent of specific technologies.
