In this role, you will:

As a Packaging Development Intern, you will support the development and optimization of innovative packaging solutions that enhance product performance, sustainability, and consumer experience. This internship offers hands-on experience in packaging design, testing, and cross-functional collaboration within a dynamic R&E environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design and development of primary and secondary packaging for consumer products.

  • Support packaging material selection, prototyping, and testing activities.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Sustainability.

  • Conduct lab-scale and pilot-scale packaging trials and document results.

  • Analyze packaging performance data and contribute to technical reports.

  • Participate in supplier interactions and benchmarking studies.

  • Help identify opportunities for packaging cost optimization and environmental impact reduction.

In one of our Intern role, you’ll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the center. To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

  • B tech/ BE/Bsc + Post graduate Diploma in Packaging .

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Familiarity with packaging materials (plastics, paperboard, films) and manufacturing processes.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CAD or packaging design software is a plus.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Passion for innovation and sustainability in packaging.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Gain exposure to real-world packaging development projects.

  • Understand the end-to-end packaging lifecycle from concept to commercialization.

  • Develop technical and project management skills in a global FMCG environment.

  • Build a professional network within Kimberly-Clark’s R&E and supply chain teams.
