Essential Job Functions: The incumbent must be able to perform all of the following duties and responsibilities with or without a reasonable accommodation. - Interact professionally and effectively through verbal and written communication with all professional contacts with emphasis on company interests - Independently prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes and effectively accomplish assigned duties through work of subordinates and/or peers. - Research, analyze, develop and manage programs, including business plans and budgets. - Demonstrate knowledge of Labor Management and Incentive Programs, including engineered labor standards and Labor Management systems. - Knowledge of retail Distribution Center operations. Supervisory Responsibilities: No direct reports. Work Environment: While some job duties are performed while seated indoors, some time is spent in a warehouse environment where exposure to heat, cold, dirt, dust, fumes, and/or noise should not be overlooked. A risk of injury may result from following improper safety procedures. Education (Required): Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field from a four-year college or university Work Experience (Required): Minimum 2 years professional experience in industrial engineering, preferably in a retail distribution center environment. An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be substituted. Experience with the development and maintenance of engineered labor standards and performance incentive programs - Experience with Warehouse Management and Labor Management systems (Manhattan Systems WM and LM for open systems preferred) - Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills as well as analytical capabilities are required.
