Job Summary: The Postal Regulatory Commission has an exciting employment opportunity for a highly motivated person with empirical skills and interest as a Data Analyst (Financial).

Major Duties:

  • As a Data Analyst (Financial) at the PRC-3 pay band, you will: Serve as the administrator for the internal financial management system, ensuring functionality, security, and continuous improvement. Update, enhance, and maintain existing Microsoft Power Apps used to support financial operations. Develop and maintain ETL pipelines that consolidate data from varied sources into reliable, well-structured datasets used throughout the agency. Develop, update, and maintain customized dashboards in Microsoft Power BI or similar tools to help Commission offices monitor budget execution and financial performance. Provide data analysis and visualization support to the Deputy Director. Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights that support strategic decision-making. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial performance, optimize forecasting models, and enhance reporting accuracy. Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting and forecasting for the agency. Identify trends and provide insights to drive business strategy. Prepare reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders under the director of the Deputy Director. Collaborate with teams to streamline data collection and reporting processes. Ensure data integrity and compliance with industry standards. Monitor key performance indicators and provide data driven recommendations. Ensure financial data is auditable and accessible. Collaborate with the Deputy Director and the Commission Chief Information Officer to establish and maintain financial data in a secure environment. Qualifications: PRC-3 Pay Band Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, statistics, data analytics or related field. 5 years of experience in financial analysis or data analytics or a closely related discipline. Experience in financial modeling and data visualization tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, etc.). Experience with SQL and data querying is preferred. Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving ability. Excellent communication and presentation abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Power BI, Power Automate, SharePoint, Qlik, and similar platforms, with a solid understanding of financial data structures, workflows, and governance. PRC-4 Pay Band Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, statistics, data analytics or related field. 10 years of experience in financial analysis or data analytics. Strong proficiency in financial modeling and data visualization tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, etc.). Experience with SQL and data querying. Demonstrated strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability. Excellent communication and presentation abilities. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Advanced experience administering and optimizing enterprise platforms such as Microsoft 365, Power BI, Power Automate, SharePoint, Qlik, and comparable technologies, with deep expertise in financial data structures, workflow design, and governance to support complex organizational needs.
