What will you do?
The Industrial Engineer will focus on optimizing complex processes and systems within manufacturing operations to improve efficiency and productivity conducting cost initiative projects. This role involves performing time studies, analyzing production data, and collaborating with various teams to implement cost-effective solutions. Lead the updates of the line’s Current VSMs, identifying improvement opportunities, prioritizing action items and leading the implementations through Kaizen events or continuous improvement projects. Update and maintain the plant layout, improving process flow accordingly.
How will you do it?
Conduct detailed analysis of manufacturing processes and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement.
Utilize statistical methods and Lean principles to develop and implement process enhancements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish best practices and standard operating procedures.
Perform time studies and analyze production data to evaluate process efficiency and effectiveness.
Maintain and update line capacity according to the line Standard Work.
Maintain and update the plant layout (using AutoCAD) according to any area modification to improve process flow.
Manage projects related to process improvements, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints.
Facilitate training sessions to educate staff on new processes and tools to enhance productivity.
What are we looking for?
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
3+ years of experience in industrial engineering or process improvement within a manufacturing setting.
Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to use data to drive decisions.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
Strong knowledge of AutoCAD knowledge.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to collaborate effectively.
Proficiency in using engineering software and tools for process modeling and analysis.
Fluent in English.
Preferred:
Experience with project management principles and methodologies.
Knowledge of ERP systems and data analytics tools.
