You will participate in the design and arrangement of machines and sequence of operations to drive transformative change in manufacturing operations. You will also contribute directly to our site’s efficiency and competitiveness through process improvements focused on compliance, standard work, and cost reduction.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Participate in the design and arrangement of machines and work centers within plant facilities to ensure a more efficient and productive layout.
Evaluate existing capacity of machines and work centers to meet current and future demands efficiently.
Identify process improvement opportunities using analysis, modeling, benchmarking, research, etc.
Provide measurable input into the sequence of operations and work instructions
Develop and improve standard work.
Contribute to plans for allocation of resources, material and personnel to establish maximum utilization.
Prepare cost estimates and cost benefit analysis to validate cost against pertinent business plans and program expectations.
Manage medium-complexity cross-functional projects from initiation to completion.
Adapt job duties as necessary to meet evolving organizational needs.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:
Become familiar with Collins Aerospace products, lean manufacturing objectives, and state of the art manufacturing techniques
Enhance your technical skills in a manufacturing environment
Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve shared goals
QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE:
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
Experience in data collection, analysis, and visualization techniques
Experience working in a lean manufacturing environment.
Experience leading a project.

Experience using analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively identify and resolve issues and mitigate risks.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
