Leidos seeks an Senior Engineering Manager to provide engineering oversight for a utility energy-efficiency program that promotes energy efficiency with industrial facilities in California. Location: Candidate would ideally be in or near Madison WI, but the right candidate could work fully remote from any location within reasonable time zone relationship to Madison.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee QA/QC on all final report documents reporting final energy savings to the client
  • Provide QA/QC for all engineering calculations in our work product
  • Interface with client engineers to understand client needs as they evolve
  • Manage subcontractor technical relationships, review subcontractor deliverables, and communicate necessary edits or corrections to the subcontractor.
  • Master program guidance documentation that details client deliverable requirements
  • Provide input on program design to Leidos management team, client, Statewide Working Groups, and CA California Public Utilities Commission
  • Manage and deliver responses to client technical questions related to our delivered work product

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical degree with four plus (4+) years of relevant experience in industrial energy project engineering calculations. May consider more years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
  • Self-starter and self-motivated
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6+ Years experience working on utility energy efficiency program engineering review

Pay Range:

Pay Range $72,150.00 - $130,425.00
