Our Sourcing Team provides support for regional projects. We are in contact with local and regional teams to collaborate and innovate. We manage the buying process and engage in commercial sourcing management in order to achieve the best contractual conditions and best results for company.
You will be responsible for manage the buying process for a given set of goods. Apply sourcing policy, interface between supplier and entity with respect to specifications and budgets. Understands concepts, methods, procedures and approaches.
As a Indirect Sourcing Specialist, you will be responsible for:
· Source, negotiate, and purchase indirect materials (MRO, utilities, services, office supplies, etc.). Place and follow-up on POs. Manage relationships with suppliers for PO execution. Manage problems and schedule changes. Update ERP.
· Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to manage the procurement process for assigned vendors/commodities, providing regular feedback on supplier performance to refine supplier strategy.
· Lead Changzhou site indirect sourcing activities, RFQ and bid comparison processes, and negotiate price, contracts, service, warranty, and other commercial terms with suppliers to meet business needs.
· Act as a bridge between internal stakeholders and vendors regarding specifications, price, quality and delivery issues, etc.
· Maintain supplier master data system parameters and provide necessary reports/data analysis for management purposes when needed.
To be successful in this role you will:
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree or above in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
· Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, with indirect material sourcing experience preferred.
· Minimum 3 years of experience in a foreign manufacturing environment, preferably with Admin-related activities.
Skills & Competencies
· Demonstrated negotiation, problem-solving, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
· Cross-functional team experience with project management skills.
· Ability to communicate English (bilingual proficiency).
· Ability to maintain confidentiality and possess strong customer service and organizational skills. Baker Hughes Confidential

· Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); knowledge of Workday is a plus.
