Service Credit Union is seeking an Indirect Lending Representative who will provide dealer, member and interdepartmental support for Indirect Lending. This includes supporting our dealership partners through loan underwriting, inquiries through multiple communication channels, document review, loan documentation follow-up, loan funding, various reporting functions and quality control.
Compensation: $22.00 - $24.00/hourly, depending on experience and qualifications. Junior level candidates typically start at the lower end of the range, with opportunities for growth as skill develop.
Hours: Full time, Monday - Friday, 8:30-5:00, with one late day during the week of 9:30-6:00. Hours also require one rotating Saturday shift, 9:00-5:00.
This position also qualifies for our Hybrid schedule, three days working on-site, two days working from home.

The Day to Day:
Handle all inbound contact from loan applicants, dealers, and vendors by phone, email, fax, and messages received via loan operating system.
Begin to develop a familiar and working knowledge of the loan function, to include direct and indirect loan operating system, and Service Credit Union’s account creation system.
Perform audits of completed loan packages to ensure quality and consistency standards are met.
Responsible for disbursal of loan proceeds.
Perform routine follow up with application and dealer to complete the loan process.
Provide appropriate lien documentation such as 30-day payoffs and follow-up on lien release requests from dealerships.
Process new member account applications.
Using critical thinking and tools available including red flag warnings, ID guide and ChexSystems to detect and mitigate fraud.
Quality control of all loan documents before purging.
Responsible for interpreting loan application data using critical thinking skills.
Review member accounts in Temenos database system and comprehend collection notes.
Follow up with record’s dept on titling issues, UCC1/MCOS, payoffs that have been processed but title not released.
Ability to analyze credit reports for credit worthiness and fraud detection.
Interview loan applicants over the telephone.
Possess a thorough understanding of all Indirect Lending policy and procedures.
Demonstrate commitment to the goals and needs of the department and credit union.
If designated: Verify deals from top dealers are reviewed in timely manner.
If designated: Follow up with dealership on pending deals, ensuring no deal is missed
If designated: Create new guidelines for new processes for future training purposes and reference guides.
Ability to continuously prioritize work and manage time effectively to meet department objectives.
If designated: Ability to answer questions through the day, help troubleshoot system errors, helping as need be afterhours/nights/weekends.
Flexibility in changing tasks.
If designated: Reports- consolidate data from entire department to track progress, mistakes, quality control.

Conduct all business activities while complying with Service CU policies and federal banking regulations.
Maintain confidentiality regarding credit union policies and procedures, member financial data, personal information, and work-related events.
Provide quality support and maintain a professional relationship with peers, management, other staff, and members through cooperation, mutual trust and respect.
Attend mandatory meetings as scheduled by branch manager outside of standard working hours as required.
If designated: Support consistent and effective learning for new and existing ILR I, II, III, in cooperation with the Training department by using materials and content provided by the Training department to support onsite learning.
Perform other duties as required.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Prior banking industry experience desired.
Good mathematical skills.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to analyze credit reports.
Ability to develop and maintain strong business relationships.
Excellent interpersonal, presentation and organizational skills.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively verbally and in writing.
Proficient with Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Power point, and various web-based applications required.
