Job Title: Inbound Team Lead, Lead Development APAC
Location: Kuala Lumpur

Reports To: Director, Lead Development – APAC

The Job

We're seeking an experienced Inbound Team Lead to manage and develop a high-performing Lead Development Representative (LDR) team. You'll be responsible for overseeing a team that manages and qualifies inbound leads generated through marketing campaigns, website inquiries, and other channels. This role ensures timely follow-up, accurate qualification, and smooth handoff of leads to the sales team, driving pipeline growth and revenue.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Team Leadership & Development

  • Manage, coach, and mentor Inbound LDRs to deliver exceptional results and outperform team objectives

  • Conduct consistent individual check-ins, review call and lead quality, and assess performance against KPIs

  • Establish and nurture individualized career development plans for LDRs to foster professional growth

  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training to ensure team development and success

Performance Management

  • Track and analyze key performance metrics, including response times, conversion rates, opportunity creation, and overall target achievement

  • Develop and implement performance improvement plans when needed to drive results

Inbound Lead Management

  • Ensure consistent application of qualification frameworks (BANT, MEDDPICC)

  • Ensure strict compliance with SLA response time standards across the team

  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to improve lead quality and handoff processes

Technology & Tools

  • Ensure team proficiency with core tech stack: Salesforce, Outreach, Zoominfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator

  • Develop and maintain response templates and playbooks for different inbound scenarios and buyer personas

  • (Highly desirable, but not essential) Experience with AI chatbots e.g., OpenAI ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, Anthropic Claude, Perplexity AI

Reporting & Analytics

  • Track and report on lead conversion metrics, team productivity, and pipeline contribution

  • Provide insights to leadership on trends and opportunities for improvement

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS

  • 2+ years managing team, and 3+ years as individual contributor in Lead Development, Sales Development, or Business Development. Experience in SaaS or B2B sales environments.

  • Strong understanding of inbound lead management, qualification methodologies, pipeline management, and CRM and sales engagement tools

  • Skilled in analyzing data to identify trends and optimize processes

  • Familiarity with inbound marketing and lead generation strategies
