Job Summary

This is an exciting and high value-add job role being created primarily focussing on the tax reconciliations like 26AS reconciliations, tax schedules preparation and analysis.

The role is in the Finance organization and will be internal to Finance only.

The individual will utilize his/her knowledge to work on reconciliations, data preparation and analysis for tax compliance, and preparation of various analytics and reports for various tax related decision makings.

This role will require extensive analysis and good knowledge of working on excel and large data sets along with analytical mindet.

This role will have a moderate level of supervision and direction and the candidate is required to work with high levels of accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of 26AS, general ledger, and sub-ledger balances.
  • Preparing accounting/tax and other schedules and reconciliations for audit and tax purposes.
  • Maintain documentation and audit trails for all activities.
  • Support internal and external audits with relevant data and reports.
  • Assist in process improvements and automation initiatives.
  • Preparation of monthly trackers & reports required for various purposes.
  • Tax Documentation and Data management.
  • Liaison with various teams in finance and business to ensure compliances, tax payments and accounting 
  • Obtaining the details & information required from various sources for the relevant compliances and/or reporting.
  • Process Monitoring, gap analysis and provide suggestions for bringing efficiency.

Experience Level:
At least 1-3 year of experience and proficiency in excel and power point.
Basic knowledge of Accounting, laws of Income Tax and GST
