The Energy Transition Practice is a specialized segment within PwC focused on helping organizations navigate the shift from traditional fossil fuel-based energy systems to more sustainable, low-carbon energy models. This practice leverages PwC’s global network, industry expertise, and multidisciplinary teams to support clients across the energy value chain in addressing the complex challenges and opportunities presented by the energy transition.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. The role focuses on advising clients in the energy sector on energy transition strategies, decarbonization pathways, and alternative fuels adoption. You will lead engagements, manage client relationships, and drive thought leadership in emerging energy technologies
Client Advisory & Delivery
Lead consulting projects on energy transition, net-zero strategies, and low-carbon solutions.
Develop and implement roadmaps for alternative fuels (e.g., hydrogen, biofuels, e-fuels)
Advise clients on policy, regulatory frameworks, and market trends impacting energy transition.
Business Development
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in energy transition and low carbon solutions
Lead proposals, pitch decks, and thought leadership content to support client acquisition.
Team Leadership
Manage project teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables and timely execution.
Mentor junior consultants and contribute to capability building within the practice.
Market & Thought Leadership
Stay abreast of global and regional trends in decarbonization and clean energy technologies.
Represent the Firm at industry forums, conferences, and client workshops.
Mandatory skill sets:
Background in the energy sector, preferably in consulting
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong client engagement and stakeholder management capabilities.
Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex projects.
Good communication and presentation skills – both oral and written
Preferred skill sets:
Technical/ operational experience in clean energy/ renewable energy/new & alternative fuels (CBG, Green H2, SAF, etc)
· Demonstrate critical thinking and the ability to bring order to unstructured problems.
· Use a broad range of tools and techniques to extract insights from current industry or sector trends.
Business development acumen

Bachelor’s degree in engineering/ relevant field from a reputed college; Master’s in technical field or MBA shall be preferred
