As a business application consulting generalist at PwC, you will provide consulting services for a wide range of business applications. You will leverage a broad understanding of various software solutions to assist clients in optimising operational efficiency through analysis, implementation, training, and support.

Responsibilities: 

Pursuit & Opportunity Management 

  • Drive strategic pursuits by identifying, qualifying, and converting integration-related opportunities. 

  • Engage with senior stakeholders (internal and external) to understand business needs and propose tailored solutions. 

  • Lead proposal development, solutioning workshops, and client presentations. 

  • Collaborate with sales, pre-sales, and delivery teams to shape winning strategies. 

Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership 

  • Build strong relationships with CXOs, business heads, and technology leaders. 

  • Act as a trusted advisor in middleware and integration strategy. 

  • Mentor and guide junior architects and integration leads. 

  • Drive project planning, estimation, and execution in alignment with business goals. 

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. 

  • Ensure adherence to Agile methodologies and Kanban practices for project delivery. 

  • Conduct regular sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. 

  • Manage risks, dependencies, and issue resolution across integration projects. 

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing. 

  • Represent the organization in industry forums and client meetings. 

 

Required Skills & Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. 

  • 12+ years of experience in middleware/integration technologies. 

  • Hands-on experience with IBM WebMethods or similar integration tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, TIBCO). 

  • Strong understanding of API management, microservices, and cloud-native integration.  

  • Strong programming skills in Java/J2EE and SQL. 

  • Proficiency with API testing tools (Postman, Swagger). 

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies. 

  • Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, and CI/CD pipelines. 

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. 

  • Proven experience in leading pursuits, RFP responses, and stakeholder negotiations.  

  • Experience in banking, financial services, or large enterprise environments is a plus. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Certification in middleware platforms, cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP), Agile (Scrum Master/SAFe), or Project Management (PMP/PRINCE2) 

  • Exposure to Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices is an advantage. 

  • Experience in banking or financial services domain.
