Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain backend and middletier services using Java
Build and consume RESTful APIs with focus on performance, scalability, and security
Work extensively with relational databases(data modeling, queries, performance tuning)
Implement business logic using Java frameworks (e.g., Spring / Spring Boot)
Participate in code reviews, testing, and production support
Collaborate closely with product owners, QA, and other engineering teams
Contribute to system stability, resiliency, and continuous improvement
Required Skills & Experience
Strong handson experience with Java (Java 8+ preferred)
Solid experience building backend and middletier applications
Strong understanding of REST APIs, HTTP, JSON, and integration patterns
Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring / Spring Boot
Strong experience with databases (SQL, stored procedures, data modeling)
Familiarity with SDLC, version control, and CI/CD practices
Good problem solving skills and attention to detail
Good to Have / Added Advantage
Working knowledge of Python (scripting, automation, or services)
Exposure to microservices architecture
Experience in Linux / Unix environments
Familiarity with messaging/eventdriven systems (Kafka, JMS, etc.)
Experience in financial services or large enterprise systems
Mandatory Skill Sets:
Java (Java 8+), REST APIs, HTTP, JSON, Integration Patterns, Spring / Spring Boot, SQL, stored procedures, data modeling, CI/CD
Preferred Skill Sets:
Python, microservices architecture, Linux / Unix environments, Kafka, JMS,
Years of Experience required: 4 to 7 Years
