Job description: 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead data mapping from legacy systems to Guidewire PolicyCenter.

P• Define transformation and cleansing rules for policy data.

• Collaborate with ETL developers and data architects on conversion logic.

• Collaborate with product managers and underwriters to define insurance product components using the Advanced Product Designer App.

• Translate business product definitions into APD configurations, including coverages, conditions, and exclusions.

• Simulate and validate product behavior using APD’s visual tools before deployment.

• Ensure alignment between APD-generated artifacts and downstream Guidewire modules.

• Validate mock conversions and support data reconciliation efforts.

• Document conversion rules, exception handling, and cutover strategies.

• Coordinate with business SMEs to ensure data accuracy and completeness.

• Leverage tools like IBM DataStage for automated data profiling, cleansing, and transformation to streamline conversion efforts.

• Utilise Guidewire DataHub for real-time data integration and conversion across Guidewire applications.

• Support hybrid conversion strategies, including:

• Big Bang Conversion: Full policy migration at once for faster deployment.

• On-Renewal Conversion: Gradual migration during policy renewals to reduce operational risk. 

Required Skills: • Deep understanding of policy data structures and insurance domain.

• Experience with data migration tools and SQL.

• Familiarity with Guidewire PolicyCenter data model.

• Strong analytical and documentation skills. 

Other requirements: Guidewire certification(s) Experience with data analysis and reporting tools. Familiarity with SQL and database management. Primary and Mandatiry skill : guidewire BA
