Job Description & Summary:
We are seeking high-performing Managers and Senior Managers to lead engagements within our Intelligent Business Transformation – FS practice, focused on the domestic Financial Services sector.
In this role, you will drive end-to-end delivery of strategic and operational transformation programs for leading banks, NBFCs and financial intermediaries. You will be responsible for owning client relationships, managing complex workstreams, shaping solutions, and developing teams in a high-impact consulting environment.
Responsibilities:
Client Leadership & Delivery Ownership
· Lead large-scale strategy, transformation, and operating model engagements in the BFSI sector.
· Own client relationships with senior stakeholders (CXO-1 / CXO-2 level) and act as the primary point of contact.
· Translating client needs into structured problem statements, solution approaches, and execution roadmaps.
· Review and enhance client deliverables including strategies, business cases, TOMs, process designs, and performance improvement insights.
· Drive workshops, design sessions, and governance forums with senior leadership teams.
Strategic & Operational Problem-Solving
· Lead assessments of business models, cost structures, processes, and enterprise performance across retail, MSME and corporate banking and NBFCs.
· Shape strategic recommendations relating to growth, customer strategy, product expansion, digital strategy, organizational redesign, and large transformation programs.
· Oversee operating model design, transformation blueprinting, regulatory impact analysis, and implementation planning.
· Support clients in executing transformation initiatives, ensuring progress against milestones and KPIs.
Project & Program Management
· Manage multiple concurrent engagements or large, multi-workstream programs.
· Drive project governance — issue resolution, risk management, stakeholder alignment, and reporting.
· Ensure delivery excellence, adherence to timelines, and quality assurance of all outputs.
· For Senior Managers: Oversee project economics, pricing, staffing, profitability, and commercial management.
People Leadership & Team Development
· Coach, mentor, and develop team members across consulting skills, analysis, and client delivery.
· Guide Consultants/Sr. Consultants in structuring analyses, preparing deliverables, and managing workstreams.
· Build a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
Practice Development & Thought Leadership
· Develop sector-specific frameworks, methodologies, assets, benchmarks, and points of view.
· Support business development efforts including proposal shaping, solutioning, and client pitches.
· Contribute to building a strong FS practice through recruiting, training, and capability building.
Mandatory skill sets:
experience in management consulting, strategy, operations, or transformation roles within BFSI.
· Proven track record in leading strategy, operating model, digital transformation, or performance improvement engagements.
· Experience working with banks, NBFCs, capital markets entities, fintechs, or BFSI-focused consulting practices.
· Demonstrated leadership in managing client-facing teams and delivering end-to-end consulting projects.
Core Consulting & Leadership Skills
· Strong structured problem-solving capability and ability to foster hypothesis-driven analysis.
· Ability to synthesize insights into clear recommendations and compelling client narratives.
· Proficiency in project/program management, including governance, risk management, and financials.
· Strong capability to manage ambiguity and drive clarity in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
· Executive presence and strong communication skills suitable for senior stakeholder interactions.
