ONESOURCE Solutions Cover a broad range of tax needs, including direct tax compliance and reporting, indirect tax determination and compliance, tax planning, and workflow management.
 

About the Role:

In this opportunity as an Implementation Consultant, you will:

  • Apply technical expertise and best practices to ensure successful client implementation of ONESOURCE Statutory Reporting software.
  • Deliver training in classroom and virtual environments (e.g. WebEx).
  • Lead larger client engagements and provide guidance to more junior Professional Services consultants.
  • Support technical issues escalated by the internal Support Desk.
  • Manage larger client implementations, ensuring time is logged accurately and budget overruns are identified and flagged promptly.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the Professional Services practice.
  • Lead or support the delivery of small to large global implementation projects, from kick-off through to go-live.
  • Deliver client workshops and training sessions, including on-site sessions where required.
  • Support clients throughout the implementation lifecycle.
  • Ensure successful knowledge transfer through effective training and sharing of best practices.
  • Ensure all training time is billed and charged to the correct training code in a timely manner.
  • Work collaboratively with project teams to deliver successful client outcomes.
  • Assist development teams with product testing as required.
  • Contribute to product improvement by supporting the design, formulation, and execution of test strategies and test cases.
  • Collaborate with other global ONESOURCE Statutory Reporting Professional Services teams.
  • Work as part of a project team to deliver client engagements under the guidance of the Project Office or Client Services Manager.
  • Partner with development teams to support testing and continuous product improvement.


About You:
You're a fit for the role of Implementation Consultant, if your background includes:

  • Prior experience using, implementing, or supporting ONESOURCE Statutory Reporting.
  • Hands-on experience in Information Technology or Finance Systems (e.g. ERP, software development, implementation, or support), either in aninternal or client-facing role.
  • Strong technical aptitude and confidence working with software and systems.
  • Programming knowledge, or a willingness to learn, in areas such as XML, XBRL, SQL, or VBA.
  • Proven ability to work to high standards in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
  • Fast learner with a proactive and self-driven approach.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to understand issues objectively and from the client's perspective.
  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally within the UK and Europe, as required.
  • Accounting knowledge or a finance-related qualification/degree.
