About the Team
The KM Information Solutions team sits within the Knowledge Management Department and is responsible for designing, delivering and supporting information and knowledge solutions that enable the organisation to work simpler, faster and smarter. Partnering closely with business stakeholders, the team improves access to information, optimises knowledge systems and processes, and ensures knowledge assets are well‑governed and fit for purpose. The team plays a key role in supporting informed decision‑making and effective knowledge sharing across the organisation.
As Implementation Analyst & Product Owner, you will be responsible for:
Lead the end-to-end delivery of knowledge and information management solutions, supporting the adoption of improved digital processes across the Reserve Bank of Australia.
Act as Business Product Owner for assigned solutions, defining value and priorities, maintaining and prioritising backlogs based on business value, user needs, risk, and governance, in partnership with IT and platform teams.
Be accountable for business outcomes across BAU support, incremental enhancement, and project delivery initiatives.
Work collaboratively across the organisation to embed change in processes, people, and systems, and influence effective change management across impacted teams.
Partner with business areas to identify, analyse, and deliver opportunities for improvement in information and knowledge management, recommending effective, best-practice solutions.
Lead business solution development activities including requirements gathering, analysis, design, testing, release planning, implementation, and adoption.
Provide strong business and technical expertise across technologies such as document management systems, collaboration platforms, and corporate productivity tools.
Build strong partnerships with peers and technical teams, leveraging diverse skillsets to deliver creative, holistic solutions to complex business challenges.
About You
You have experience working in a business‑led, product‑oriented environment, with a strong interest in information management and the continuous improvement of digital solutions.
You are comfortable operating at the intersection of business and technology and thrive in collaborative, cross‑functional environments.
You bring proven experience delivering initiatives with both business and technical dimensions, and can effectively bridge gaps between the two.
You have strong stakeholder engagement skills, including presenting, facilitating workshops, and supporting change management activities.
You have demonstrated experience performing product ownership activities from a business or operational perspective.
You are able to make informed trade‑offs within agreed scope, balancing value, effort, and risk.
You have a solid understanding of records and information management, including governance, processes, and supporting systems.
You are familiar with AI‑driven processes and automation within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, such as M365 Copilot, SharePoint Online, Teams, Power Automate, Power BI, and Purview.
You have experience applying design thinking or human‑centred design approaches.
You hold tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Information Management, or possess equivalent industry or relevant professional experience.
You have exposure to Product Owner or similar delivery roles within digital or information management initiatives (desirable).
You hold, or are familiar with, project management certifications such as PRINCE2 or Agile methodologies (desirable).
You have demonstrated experience in solution design and business process improvement, including analysis, testing, and implementation.
Please note this role does not require software engineering, infrastructure management, or platform administration experience.
