INBOUND MANAGER

Contract (ie Perm/FTC/Part-Time): Permanent

The role:

The role oversees the day-to-day delivery of immigration services for clients moving into and out of South Africa, ensuring work is accurate, compliant and delivered to a high standard. You will manage and develop a team of immigration professionals, allocate work effectively and monitor performance to ensure deadlines and service commitments are met. As a senior point of contact for clients, you will build strong relationships, lead discussions and provide guidance on complex matters.

Working closely with the Business Unit Leader, you will support team performance, strengthen client partnerships and contribute to the continued success of the practice.

What your day will look like:

  • Lead, manage and inspire a high-performing team delivering immigration support into South Africa
  • Act as the senior relationship owner for key clients, building, strengthening and developing long-term partnerships
  • Oversee service delivery to ensure work is accurate, compliant and delivered to agreed standards and review application packs
  • Proactively Identify risks and implementing process improvements to maintain efficiency and quality
  • Allocate work strategically, manage team capacity and ensure deadlines and service commitments are met
  • Provide expert guidance on complex immigration matters and serve as the escalation point for high-profile cases
  • Drive client engagement by leading meetings, delivering clear advice and collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Coach and mentor team members, set performance goals and provide balanced, constructive feedback
  • Monitor team performance, address challenges proactively and promote a culture of accountability and excellence
  • Manage billing processes, fee discussions, case management and overall financial performance of the Inbound team
  • Identify and implement improvements to enhance service delivery, efficiency and client experience
  • Support business growth through client onboarding, networking and identifying new opportunities
  • Partner with senior leadership to contribute to strategic planning, resourcing and the ongoing development of the practice

The team:

The South Africa Inbound team consists of six professionals: two Coordinators, two Consultants, a Senior Consultant and the Business Unit Leader. The team works in a collaborative and commercially focused environment, with shared responsibility for delivering high-quality immigration services to corporate and individual clients.

The team manages immigration matters for private clients and corporates clients moving into South Africa. This includes advising on visa and work authorisation requirements, overseeing application processes, ensuring compliance with immigration regulations and supporting clients through complex mobility matters. The work is varied and fast-paced, with a strong emphasis on accuracy, coordination, consistency and service excellence.

What we are looking for:

Essential criteria:

  • 10+ years’ immigration experience, with strong expertise in South Africa inbound matters
  • At least 5 years’ experience leading, coaching and developing a team
  • Proven ability to manage complex immigration matters and oversee high-quality service delivery
  • Strong client relationship management skills, with experience engaging senior stakeholders
  • Commercial awareness, including experience managing budgets, billing oversight or fee discussions
  • Confident communicator, comfortable leading client meetings and resolving escalations
  • Demonstrated ability to improve processes and drive team performance
  • A collaborative and accountable leadership style
