Job Summary: The National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC) leads the nation's effort to protect the United States from terrorism by integrating, analyzing and sharing information to drive whole-of-government action and achieve our national CT objectives.

Basic ability to remain open-minded and change opinions on the basis of new information and requirements; ability to support group decisions and solicit opinions from coworkers. Basic ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing. Basic interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills, including an ability to work effectively within an interagency environment on complex issues requiring negotiation and consensus-building. Basic ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines while maintaining a high level of attention to detail. Basic ability to direct taskings, assess and manage performance, collaborate on goal setting, and support personal and professional development of all levels of personnel. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: 2-3 years experience in a related field or Bachelor's degree in a related field. Desired Requirements: Prior experience working within the TIDE database. Basic interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to work effectively both independently and in a team or collaborative environment; demonstrated success working across organizational lines. Familiarity with traditional and nontraditional information resources, particularly current or projected collection systems and data sources for analysis; basic knowledge of selected analytic tools (link analysis, data integration, geographic information systems).
