I&C DesignerResponsibilities:
Work closely with clients providing solutions and deliverables, building a business of work based on continued success delivering projects
Develop and deliver discipline-specific instrumentation and controls (I&C) designs, drafting, and 3D modeling services in alignment with company standards, client expectations, and applicable codes and regulations
Apply recognized offshore and onshore design principles, standards, and practices in all aspects of I&C engineering
Interpret and incorporate data from P&IDs, one-line diagrams, loop diagrams, and other technical documentation
Conduct site visits and field verification to validate and update marked-up drawings
Collaborate effectively with clients, engineers, construction teams, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams throughout the design lifecycle
Produce deliverables such as design drawings, 3D models, bills of materials, schedules, and material take-offs
Support TIC estimates with MTO’s quantities and pricing
Utilize electronic document management systems (EDMS) to organize and manage design documentation
Ensure design output is timely, accurate, and within defined scope and budget
Assist in the development and review of final project documentation, incorporating client feedback and internal quality standards
Continuously seek and implement process improvements, technological advancements, and innovative approaches to enhance design efficiency and integrity
Qualifications:
Degree in a technical discipline (Instrumentation, Electrical Design, or related field)
Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Smart Plant Instrumentation (In tools)
Strong understanding of I&C design standards, including the ability to interpret and update P&IDs, loop drawings, and one-line diagrams
Proficient in 3D modeling and drafting software tools, with the ability to generate accurate and detailed deliverables
Skilled in organizing and managing complex design data from multiple sources
Experience conducting field verification and site walks to validate design intent and drawing accuracy
