Duties/Responsibilities:
Work as one of a team for maximum effectiveness and optimal task methods, which includes operating equipment, raw material and finished goods movements and clean room area and equipment cleaning / sanitizing.
Responsible for maintaining accurate product identification, traceability and material status and accurately
Must be able to safely operate electric forklifts (stand up and sit down), electric pallet jacks, slip sheeting equipment and material tuggers.
Must achieve and maintain forklift certification.
Assist with staging materials changeovers, line clearance and cleaning.
Assist in achieving production rate and quality goals on assigned equipment
Facilitate continuous operation of the equipment through breaks.
Cross train where needed within the department to support the business
Maintain all quality and GMP standards
Perform needed SAP data entries
Participate on blitz teams as assigned
Other duties as required to support the needs of the business
Education:
High School diploma/GED preferred
In lieu of High School diploma/GED, two years manufacturing experience is required
Experience:
Previous manufacturing experience preferred
Previous experience with MES preferred
Forklift experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Work effectively on own, or in a team atmosphere – Proficient
Ability to maintain a neat, clean and orderly work area – Proficient
Willingness and ability to train others - Proficient
Teamwork – Proficient
Organization skills, detailed oriented – Basic
Ability to speak, read, and write in English
