Summary:
Designs, develops, modifies, debugs and evaluates programs for functional areas, including but not limited to finance, human resources, manufacturing and marketing. Analyzes existing programs or formulates logic for new systems, devises logic procedures, prepares flowcharting, performs coding and tests/debugs programs. Develops conversion and system implementation plans. Prepares and obtains approval of system and programming documentation. Recommends changes in development, maintenance and system standards. Trains users in conversion and implementation of system.
Duties & Responsibilities:
We are seeking a dedicated Hyperion technical consultant with hands-on experience in EPM, Essbase & Planning with 3–4 years of experience. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Hyperion application development, maintenance & support.
Key Responsibilities
- Should be able to do the Hyperion EPM, Essbase STUDIO, Planning development & Support.
- Should be able develop the financial reporting (Like company Balance sheet, Income statement, Cash flow statement etc.) & building/implementation of Cubes, Calculation Scripts & Rule Files for critical financial reporting requirements.
- Developed Smart-View reporting using Hyperion/Essbase Cubes.
- Experience in Hyperion Essbase production support (Monthly, quarterly and yearly)
- Able to do the modifications in EAS Console, Essbase Calculation Scripts
- Able to do the development in WebLogic Console, Enterprise Manager.
- Experience of creating interfaces using ODI to sync up various Hyperion applications data (Like sync up between Essbase & Planning application using ODI interfaces) – {ODI-Oracle Data Integrator)
- Should have involved in Hyperion technical upgrade OR implementation projects.
Additional exposure on:
- Oracle Applications R12 (ERP)
- ARM (Account Reconciliation Management)
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science OR any related master’s degree
- SQL skills and familiarity with relational database systems (e.g., Oracle DB, SQL Server) is a plus.
