What you will do: 

Position requirements are to perform a variety of repairs and services in a specialized building system environment with a high emphasis on HVAC and Mechanical Systems. Working knowledge of Electrical / Electronic, Security Systems, BAS, and other similar types of related equipment and systems is a PLUS. 

  

How you will do it: 

Service, Repair, Maintain, Monitor and Adjust HVAC systems to keep within allowable parameters. 

Performs a variety of service work for areas such as mechanical, electrical / electronic, security, electronic locking doors, hydraulics, carpentry, and machine servicing, etc. 

Will plan, select, and lay out required materials for service and repair work. 

Complete assigned Preventive Maintenance tasks. 

Uses building prints, schematics and other available documents while troubleshooting system failures and work requests. 

Manages subcontracted work to ensure proper notifications are sent, work is completed in accordance with designed scope of work and ensures all safety requirements are met. 

Ability to operate a variety of hand tools and machines instrumental to building operations. 

Provide detailed information related to procurement group for new supplies and equipment. 

Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures and complies with all company policies.  

Is required to participate in an on-call rotation schedule to attend to emergency situations at the facility.   

  

What we look for: 

  

Required 

Completion of a two year technical degree plus 5 years of experience in a Facility Maintenance environment. 

Ability to maintain all HVAC systems (AHU’s, Chillers, DX sys, pumps, cooling towers, etc) 

Working and operating knowledge of Building Automated System (BMS), preferably Metasys 

Ability to operate and troubleshoot Fire Alarm and Fire Suppression Systems 

Requires Universal EPA Refrigeration Certification 

Working understanding of UPS and Generator systems 

Requires in-depth knowledge of various maintenance fundamentals sufficient to deal with service and repairs requests 

Must be physically able to perform basic maintenance tasks to the highest caliber, which includes ability to: climb ladders, operate machinery, lift heavy objects weighing up to 50 lbs., etc 

Must possess a valid driver’s license 

  

Preferred 

Knowledge in building Security Systems to include card readers, surveillance cameras and electronic locking systems a PLUS 

Proven Electrical system working knowledge a PLUS
