What you will do:
Performs routine preventative maintenance
Functions as a journey mechanic and / or a general
Works as required by Certificate of Competency with all types of HVAC, i.e., copper,
steel, plastic, etc.
Displays a good understanding of hospital drawings.
Performs minor routine maintenance service to the hospital HVAC system and controls
temperature and humidity through the energy management system
Performs unrelated work as assigned as necessary.
Supports the mission and vision of HCH at all times
Maintains a clean and safe work area
Complies with departmental and hospital-wide policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
High School or Vocational School graduate preferred
2-3 years’ experience in general maintenance
Licensure
Valid / current Journeyman Certificate of Competency for any county in the State of Florida preferred
