Job Summary: This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST in the Naval Systems Command, Human Resources Office of NAVSEA HQ FIELD SUPPORT

Major Duties:

  • You will design and conduct studies of human resources programs.
  • You will prepare and present briefings to provide updates, identify potential problem areas, and present findings, recommendations, and results of studies, analyses, and special projects.
  • You will develop staffing guidance in the form of Standard Operating Procedures, Internal Operating Procedures, and lead or assist leadership in conducting various studies in the evaluation of total Command and Recruitment Placement program.
  • You will provide staff level advisory services on significant position classification problems and issues.
  • You will classify Acquisition Demo and General Schedule positions, determining proper pay plan, title, series, and grade.
  • You will provide solutions to complex problems with command-wide impact dealing with a variety of labor and employee relations issues.
  • You will serve as resident expert and staff advisor and consultant for the workforce development program.

Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one Your resume must demonstrate one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level/pay band NH-01 (GS-4 equivalent) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. General experience must demonstrate the following: performing recruitment and placement functions; assistance in position classification; submitting automated recruit/fill requests; assisting in Human Resources Development program work; and advising staff and employees on policy requirements for a recruitment program or agency.
