The HR Services Manager is a critical role within our organization, responsible for delivering high-quality support within our Global Employment Outsourcing (GEO) offering. In this function, we serve as the designated employer of record for our clients’ international employees, ensuring compliant employment practices across borders. Our team manages the complexities of local labor requirements including tax obligations, employment regulations, statutory benefits, and workforce administration so our clients can focus on running their business efficiently.

We are seeking a professional who can provide accurate, timely HR guidance to a diverse portfolio of global clients, with a specific focus on employment practices, labor regulations, and compliance requirements in the US. This role will help clients understand their obligations, navigate employment-related decisions, and maintain full compliance with applicable laws.

Key responsibilities would include:

  • Main point of contact for all HR related questions throughout the worker life cycle.
  • Work with the Operations Team to ensure successful onboarding for all new GEO workers.
  • Proactively support the delivery of all the GEO HR processes encompassing handbooks, policies, practices, and procedures, ensuring legal compliance.
  • Develop and maintain all types of contracts of employment (Starters, Leavers, Extensions, and employment transfers) ensuring legal compliance.
  • Manage complex HR projects/issues with Worker(s)/Clients including but not limited to Performance Management, terminations & transfer of employment.
  • Advise clients where necessary on workers career progressions and promotions.
  • Advise clients where possible on salary analysis & recommendations.
  • Worker offboarding (voluntary & involuntary) along with retirements.
  • Advise and support Management in HR related responsibilities.
  • Apply and update, when needed, HR policies, procedures and work conditions as well as ensuring their communication and compliance.
  • Maintain employees’ personal data as per local laws.
  • Participate in different projects, as requested by the immediate line manager.
  • Actively identify gaps in processes and make recommendations/implement changes necessary to mitigate risk.
  • Proactively support the GEO Team and Line Management with regular updates on employment law.
  • Provide ongoing guidance and support to internal teams including Sales, Operations, Supply Chain and Line Management as and when requested.
  • Work with associated benefit providers to provide legally compliant benefit packages for all workers and provide benefit costing updates to Supply Chain and Line Management.
  • Manage the monthly payroll for all workers with our local payroll team ensuring legal Compliance.

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Relations, in Human Resources Management or in a related field.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Generalist in a Human Resources role, preferably in a company of international scope.
  • Knowledge of the legislations and rules applicable to fields of responsibilities.
  • HR experience in the USA: Management of Employment Terminations is essential, Experience in advising on complicated Employment Relations Issues, Payroll experience is desirable.
  • Excellent ability to communicate in English (Essential) (spoken and written).
  • Spirit of collaboration, teamwork mindset, positive attitude, strategic mindset, passion for service, customer focus, prioritization skills.
