This role is a critical strategic HR role with leadership responsibilities supporting a key portion of our U.S. business within the newly created Commercial Solutions business unit. The ideal candidate will be able to navigate complex and highly matrixed organizations, have superior analytical skills, balance human connection and empathy while driving business results and have a track record of building and transforming based on an understanding of business needs.

No day is the same but you will get the chance to do all of the below:

  • Operate as strategic individual contributor, with seat at the management team table.
  • Focus on influencing and driving business results through value-add proven practices while soliciting innovative & creative-thinking.
  • Create significant impact through coaching of senior leaders and leveraging the HR Business Partner team which is led by a center of excellence design.
  • Influence and shape people practices and overall strategies for the US business unit as part of the regional business unit HR leadership team.
  • Use data and facts to inform current decisions and influence towards future outcomes.
  • Partner with HR specialist functions like Learning and Development, Compensation, Benefits and Talent Acquisition to solve business needs and ensure appropriate delivery.
  • Provide HR Partner with management coaching and counseling to business leaders and managers to effectively meet business line/region goals.
  • Design and lead implementation of solutions to enhance and grow the business, including organizational design and development, management and talent development, employee engagement initiatives along with others.
  • Lead activities and initiatives associated with change management involving reorganizations, mergers/acquisitions, onboarding and manager upskilling.
  • Ensure the communication of timely employee-related information to management teams as necessary.
  • Provide advice, guidance and direct support on all aspects related to people management to senior management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree with min 8 years experience as a generalist or combination of generalist and specialist experience
  • Experience partnering with senior/executive management teams
  • Excellent analytical problem-solving, judgment and decision-making skills in highly complex situations
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and very good interpersonal skills, including expert coaching and counselling skills
  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications and HRIS applications
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical, life sciences, healthcare and/or related business industries desired
  • Sound knowledge of local and relevant employment legislation
  • The ideal candidate will bring experience of enabling AI-augmentation within an HR/talent organization
  • Experience of workforce, skills, talent planning and career paths would be preferred

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $103,500.00 - $288,200.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
