In this role you will be responsible for:
· Providing timely and effective generalist HR support and guidance on ER/IR tops to key stakeholders onsite;
· Facilitating workplace investigations
· Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and HR policy development
· Recruitment and onboarding of new employees;
· Coordination of employee performance review and development processes;
· Supporting the Clermont HR team in the delivery of the HR Strategy across site
· Actively engaging in the day-to-day operations at Clermont Open Cut;
· Promoting positive relationships with stakeholders and the Clermont community
· Supporting site payroll processes
Requirements of the role include:
· Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources/Business and/or relevant previous experience and knowledge in the Human Resources field.
· An ability to interpret legislation, regulations, Awards, Industrial Agreements together with policy and procedure
· Demonstrated capacity to effectively communicate, promote and uphold HR initiatives and values, including discretion and confidentiality
· Strong teamwork, planning and scheduling skills
· Ability to contribute towards the development and implementation of HR programs and initiatives to meet the needs of the organisation
· An exceptional attention to detail along with an enthusiastic and self-motivated attitude
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Able to use analytical skills to reason through problems and translate creative ideas into workplace improvements
· Previous experience with SAP/WorkDay systems highly regarded
This permanent full-time role requires a detail-oriented HR generalist who is prepared to challenge the norm, drive continuous improvement and who can demonstrate experience in supporting best practise across the HR function whilst maintaining confidentiality.
