Salary Range: $37193 - $60593 Per Year

Major Duties:

  • You will analyze employee documents to determine pay entitlements.
  • You will obtain data needed to complete personnel actions.
  • You will resolve personnel pay issues to ensure employees receive correct pay entitlements.
  • You will explain qualifications requirements to potential applicants.

Qualifications: To qualify for the GS-5: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Maintaining records to ensure they are accurate and up to date; 2) Using automated systems to perform administrative support functions (i.e. reviewing information for discrepancies, maintain databases, and preparing reports, briefings, and correspondence); and 3) Utilizing standard office equipment (i.e., scanners, copiers, fax machines, and office automation systems) to perform a substantial range of office automation support functions. To qualify for the GS-4: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of general experience demonstrating progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position.
