GENERAL FUNCTION:

Under minimal supervision, performs research of moderately complex processes and provides second level operational support to employees, managers and human resources partners that aligns with policy and procedure within the Human Capital (HC) areas of: organizational management, recruiting, learning, annual training, relocation, and employee onboarding as well as additional areas as strategy dictates. Includes managing multiple inquiry mailboxes, reporting analysis, monthly dashboards and providing answers to inquiries through ticketing systems. Functions as a subject matter expert to other team members and will be expected to cross-train, onboard or upskill others and certify other’s ability to perform various processes and procedures.  Analyzes business trends, employee feedback and the implementation and testing of appropriate technology applications in support of Human Capital Centers of Excellence policies. Interacts with external service providers.

While operating within the Bank’s risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Consult with stakeholders to understand, coordinate and manage logistical and operational needs for a defined set of responsibilities providing operational support.
  • Problem solve moderately complex scenarios, providing creative solutions that promote automation and efficiency.
  • Address escalated issues relying on independent judgement, research, interpretation, and discretion across various human capital disciplines. 
  • Identify and resolve process risks assisting in implementation of policies and procedures aligned with strategies that enhance performance, compliance, efficiency, and effectiveness.  
  • Use and manage various ticketing systems, email boxes or appropriate response method.  
  • Maintain process and procedure documentation to ensure accuracy and creates new documentation to reflect changes and enhancements. 
  • Assist in dashboards or scorecards, tracking exceptions, and other metric reporting as needed to monitor performance standards for quality and productivity. 
  • Provides periodic reporting of business tasks responding to inquiries from leadership, auditors, and other partners regarding the data in reports issued by the department. 
  • Drives tasks to completion in accordance with the project schedules and SLAs. 
  • Collaborate with teams for resolution of system and process problems while openly sharing skills and knowledge, information and supporting the team. 
  • Develop and maintain appropriate business relationships with stakeholders and third party suppliers.
  • Assumes a primary role in testing and implementation of change requests and releases providing system support by analyzing, testing, and implementing approved changes according to established procedures and standards. 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

No direct supervision of employees required.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Minimum of four years experience in human resources, operations, service related work experience. 
  • Advanced skills in MS Office products: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Service-focused approach in scenarios where policy or procedure are in confict with desired outcome. 
  • Summarizes issues and resolutions using both written and verbal communication methods appropriate for applicable level of employee.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, handle multiple tasks while maintaining strong attention to detail. 
  • Team-oriented collaborator who considers all resources including systems, data  and partners, communities, to propose improvements and solutions aligned with strategic initiatives.
  • Drive and initiative to research and investigate process improvements while embracing change preferred.
  • Self-starter, highly motivated, able to shift directions quickly when priorities change.
  • Experience with human resource information systems preferred.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential data, information and business with discretion and maturity using sound judgement. 

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Normal office environment with little exposure to dust, noise, temperature and the like.
  • Extended viewing of computer screens.
  • Business travel may be required.

The base salary for this position is reflective of the range of salary levels for all roles within this pay grade across the U.S. Individual salaries within this range will vary based on factors such as role, relevant skillset, relevant experience, education and geographic location. In addition to the base salary, this role is eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan, with any such payment based upon company, line of business and/or individual performance.
