Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned Human Capital Business Partner to provide strategic and tactical people partnering support to senior leaders within Group Technology & Transformation.
This role contributes directly to the BU and Segment People Plan, with a strong focus on implementing pragmatic HR solutions that enhance organisational effectiveness and business performance.
The role partners closely with senior management and provides expert HR advisory services and may be accountable for leading key HR practices.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Tactical HR Partnering
- Partner with senior leaders to translate business strategy into effective people plans.
- Provide trusted advisory support on complex people, performance, and organisational matters.
Policy Development & Governance
- Interpret, apply, and monitor HR policies and procedures.
- Advise business leaders on policy application and ensure compliance with labour legislation and internal frameworks.
HR Frameworks & Talent Solutions
- Design and implement HR frameworks covering recruitment, performance management, learning and development, succession planning, reward, diversity, and talent retention.
- Enable attraction, development, and retention of talent at a sustainable cost.
Employee Relations & Case Management
- Manage and resolve complex and contentious employee relations cases.
- Support disciplinary processes, grievances, and labour-related matters, including preparation of legal submissions where required.
HR Analytics & Insights
- Use HR data and analytics to diagnose business challenges, identify trends, and inform decision-making.
- Provide insights to enhance employee engagement and improve business performance.
Internal Client Relationship Management
- Build strong, trusted relationships with internal clients.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and coordinate internal or external resources to deliver effective solutions.
Capability Building
- Act as a subject matter expert in HR practices, policy, regulation, and operational management.
- Stay abreast of emerging labour legislation, industry trends, and best practices.
Qualifications & Experience
- Honours or Masters level qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years’ general HR experience, including 4 years’ senior advisory experience.
- Strong experience in employee relations, policy interpretation, and HR business partnering.
- Demonstrated ability to work with HR data, analytics, and insights.
