Provides technical guidance on a wide range of environmental matters impacted by company operations and assets; provides advice in the environmental areas of air, water, waste, soil and groundwater. Performs site assessments, tests to ensure that safeguards are in place and aligned with company risk guidelines and regulatory requirements. Verifies that environmental issues are addressed and mitigation measures are implemented. Manages environmental monitoring and reporting. Employees in this Job Category can support multiple environmental areas (air/water, waste/water, etc.).

Supports medium sized clients/customers and makes significant contributions to more complex projects under periodic supervision. General knowledge of the work function and Chevron’s practices.

Provides environmental support to all the different work areas in the Environmental Performance Team Work scopes include approvals implementation support and advice, safeguard assurance, operations execution support, compliance and GHG reporting and environmental engineering support (air, wastewater and waste).

Chevron participates in E-Verify in certain locations as required by law.
