YOUR ROLE

As a HS&E Coordinator, you will ensure and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance work as well as interventions carried out at the level of buildings and installations in accordance with pre-established standards and procedures while ensuring respect for the environment within the company's premises. Ensure respect for the environment within the company. Monitor all work performed by H&S supervisors to ensure health and safety in the workplace. Ensure the safety of people and property within the Aptiv site.

In your daily job you will:

  • Supervise the conservation work of the buildings and their installations (water, electricity, alarm systems, fire protection, etc.)
  • Determine as part of corrective maintenance the repairs to be carried out on installations and buildings.
  • Ensure that repair work is carried out on all possible failures in buildings and installations.
  • Analyze water and electricity consumption... and write the related monthly report.
  • Ensure the management of new structures and the necessary development work.
  • Monitor new projects and inform management of their progress.
  • Collect estimates of the works to be acquired and assist in the choice of suppliers in collaboration with management and the OSG (Operation Service Group).
  • Write reports on fire prevention systems.
  • To be the contact person for the security service provider (currently PROTECTAS)
  • Monitor the Security Service Provider's staff & routines with monthly follow-up meetings, 
  • Develop monthly Safety Reports to be shared with local staff & organization,
  • Monitoring the proper functioning of safety equipment
  • Manage problems of access to plants.
  • Update of the emergency evacuation plan.
  • Security management of expatriate residences (anti-intrusion/guarding system).
  • Collaborate with the relevant safety authorities
  • Plan safety training sessions.
  • Placing orders for equipment necessary for disaster prevention and control.
  • Coordinate with all departments to implement security measures.

YOUR BACKGROUND

Key skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:

  • Bac+5 in Health, Safety and Environment (HSE), Environmental Engineering, industrial safety, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in HSE management within an industrial environment.
  • Fluent English & French required (Oral and written communication skills).
  • Strong communication and awareness-raising skills
  • Proactivity and sense of responsibility
