Strategic Business Partnership
Collaborate with business leaders to understand their goals and challenges and develop HR strategies that align with overall business objectives.
Actively providing insights on workforce planning, talent acquisition, and organisational development.
Change Management
Lead and influence change at a functional level across the organisation.
Develop detailed project plans to support implementation of major change initiatives involving HR.
Manage and evaluate the efficient delivery of significant ongoing, annual and planned one-off HR programmes and projects within the organisation.
Develop action plans to mitigate risk arising from the implementation of situational HR solutions.
Assess and review the impact of solutions, stay alert to changes in context and make appropriate corrections to strategy and solutions.
Employee Relations & Industrial Relations
Proactively manage employee relations issues, ensuring a positive and respectful workplace culture.
Act as Company representative in managing unionised employees.
Manage the disciplinary cases, conduct investigations, mediate conflicts, and provide guidance on performance management.
Carry out appropriate and targeted employees’ engagement sessions.
Talent Development
Work closely with leaders to identify and develop high potential employees.
Support talent acquisition efforts by collaborating with recruiters and hiring managers to attract and retain top talent.
Work with C&B team on international assignees placement from and/or to Malaysia.
Learning & Development
Collaborate with CoE team to deliver and administer development initiatives.
Maintain training record for employees.
Monitor sources of funds and perform analysis of the fund utilisation eg. HRDC.
HR Policies and Compliance
Stay informed on HR laws and regulations to ensure company compliance.
Review and update HR policies, ensuring they align with current legislation and Company Values.
Data Analysis and Reporting
Utilise HR metrics and analytics to assess the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.
Generate monthly report on key HR metrics for leadership review.
Audit
Act as Company representative for any HR related audit.
