What you will do

We’re looking for a HR Specialist to join our People Team on a 12 month contract. This role offers the opportunity to support a wide range of HR activities while contributing to a positive and engaging employee experience. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the business to deliver high-quality support in areas such as onboarding, engagement, learning and development, operations, and more!

You’ll gain exposure to a broad range of HR practices and have the opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive and fast-paced environment.

Key activities include but are not limited to:

  • Acting as a first point of contact for routine employee queries, providing timely and empathetic support.
  • Coordinating and delivering onsite onboarding activities to support a smooth new joiner experience.
  • Supporting the planning and delivery of local engagement and culture initiatives in partnership with relevant teams.
  • Supporting local People Partners with reporting and preparation of HR data to inform decision-making and drive people initiatives.
  • Maintaining HR communications and resources, including intranet pages and shared folders.
  • Supporting local training initiatives, including administrative coordination and tracking.
  • Maintaining employee files in line with GDPR and supporting documentation and compliance efforts.
  • Assisting with HR operations, including work permit applications, policy updates, and routine processes.

What you will bring

  • 2+ years of experience within a HR Function / Related Team
  • Third level degree in HR or related field preferred
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage empathetically and professionally.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to build positive relationships across teams.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in managing HR processes and compliance requirements.
  • Proactive and adaptable mindset to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
