About the Role
ESAB is seeking an HR Operations Analyst to support our global HR customer group. The HR Operations Analyst is generally responsible for HR Inquiry Management, data management, data quality reviews, and other administrative tasks. This position will also be responsible for processing mass update files into Workday using EIB uploads and processing a variety of Workday transactions such as security roles changes, organization assignment changes, new hire processing, password resets, corrections, and data cleanup activities.
This position is responsible for the HR support help desk, troubleshooting system issues and escalating to the broader HR Analyst team for resolution. This position will document processes, create and maintain user guides, and support training of the HR & PR resources. The HR Operations Analyst will also run standard reports and provide data to fulfill customer request and other operational reporting needs.
The HR Operations Analyst may also coordinate various HR/education programs by communicating with participants, managing logistics, and participating on planning teams. This position will also participate in various HR projects as needed.
This position will work primarily with the HR team, but also needs to establish strong working relationships with the Payroll and IT and Finance. This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts, and supporting the development and rollout of ESAB’s HR & Payroll Operations transformation.
What you will do
- Provides customer service by answering inquiries in the Microsoft CRM ticketing system.
- Document all customer inquiries and resolutions received via email or chat or alternative streams of input to identify, diagnose, and initiate research necessary to resolve customer issues in a timely manner, as needed.
- Cleary communicates problem symptoms and consults with the HRIS team representatives as necessary to aide in resolving customer issues/requests and ensure all pertinent information is included.
- Create and maintain user guides and/or desktop procedures for routine transactions & processes.
- Review all employee lifecycle transaction to verify quality of data and accuracy of inputs prior to approving and advancing in the defined workflow.
- Maintain the Global HR Knowledge base site in collaboration with the respective COE leads.
- Provide assistance on navigating internal resources on self-service and HR technology tools
- Assist the HRIS team with testing for Workday Feature Releases or other HRIS projects as needed.
- Process mass transaction loads into Workday using the EIB tool.
- Assist with coordination of end user training calls.
- Provide ad hoc reporting support, using defined standards, and ensure complete accurate data.
- Assist with monitoring of data quality, transaction timeliness dashboards.
- Additional duties as assigned.
What we are looking for
- Strong Customer Service skills
- At least 3-5 years of experience in HRIS, HR Shared Services, or general HR Analyst roles preferred
- Previous service center or call center experience preferred
- At least 1 year experience with an HRIS system such Workday, SuccessFactors, ADP, UKG, or similar platform.
- Fluent in written and oral English language – required
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's in computer science, management information systems, business administration, human resources, or related discipline
Preferred
- Understanding of manufacturing industry
- Candidates local to Chennai, India will be given priority
