Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated HR Generalist Netherlands to join our Human Resources team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day Human Resources operations and administration for the Netherlands and Belgium, providing expert coaching to people leaders, and ensuring full legal compliance with local employment laws. You will join a specialised team of Human Resources professionals dedicated to supporting our global workforce across diverse regions including Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).

What You’ll Do (Core Responsibilities)

In this role, you will:

  • Manage end-to-end Human Resources administration and compliance to ensure service excellence and adherence to local legal requirements regarding employment certificates, social funds, and official documentation.

  • Collaborate with people managers and stakeholders to provide coaching on employee relations, performance management, and best practices within a complex matrixed environment.

  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards by leading local execution of Human Resources projects, change management initiatives, and Learning and Development activities.

What You’ll Bring (Skills & Experience)

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Substantial and progressive experience in Human Resources with demonstrated functional knowledge and expertise.

  • Strong knowledge of local employment laws in the Netherlands and Belgium, including specific experience with social, pension, and health fund reporting.

  • Proven ability in conflict resolution and stakeholder management, with the capacity to build strong partnerships and carry out root cause analysis.

  • A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and absolute fluency in both written and verbal English and Dutch.
