About the Job 

As our HR Generalist for Belgium & the Netherlands (BeNe), you will support both Retail and Corporate populations, acting as a trusted HR partner to the business. You will work closely with managers and employees on a wide range of HR topics, with a strong focus on employee relations, performance and talent management, local labour legislation, and continuous improvement of HR processes. 

You will report to the HR Manager for BeNe and collaborate closely with HR Specialists, Payroll, and EU HR teams, playing an active role in local and European HR initiatives. In this role, you will contribute to ensuring HR practices are consistent, compliant, and efficient across the markets. 

Key Responsibilities 

Retail & Corporate Support  

  • Be a trusted advisor on employee relations (ER) topics, managing cases in partnership with key stakeholders 

  • Support and advise managers across the full employee lifecycle, from hire to exit 

  • Support and coach managers on performance management 

  • Contribute to talent management initiatives 

  • Provide guidance on Belgian and Dutch labour legislation, ensuring compliance and consistency 

  • Support managers with sick leave and return to work cases and followup 

  • Support recruitment activities for Store Management roles 

  • Identify and drive HR process improvements to enhance efficiency and employee experience 

  • Lead or contribute to local and EU HR projects, collaborating with cross-functional HR teams 

 

About You 

  • Solid experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within a multi‑country environment
  • Strong working knowledge of Belgian and Dutch labor legislation
  • Proven experience managing employee relations cases
  • Comfortable supporting both retail and corporate populations
  • Experience with performance management and talent management processes
  • Strong stakeholder management and advisory skills
  • Fluent in Dutch and English; French is an asset.

 

This is ahybrid positionbased in ourBrusselsoffice. You will be expected to be in the officethree days per week, though time in office may vary depending on business needs. 

The expected starting salary range for this role is € 57,800 – € 77,000 per year. The amount an employee will earn within the salary range will be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications,performance and our needs.
