Position Summary:
The HR Generalist is a key member of the Human Resources team, responsible for managing and executing core HR functions with a focus on timekeeping, payroll administration, compensation support, benefits coordination, employee onboarding, and interview scheduling. This role ensures accurate and timely HR operations while delivering positive employee experience and maintaining compliance with company policies and labor regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Timekeeping & Payroll
Monitor and audit employee timekeeping records to ensure accuracy and compliance
Prepare and process payroll in coordination with Finance, including adjustments, deductions, and statutory contributions
Resolve payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies promptly
Compensation & Benefits
Support compensation reviews and salary administration processes
Administer employee benefits programs including enrollment, changes, and claims support
Liaise with benefits providers and ensure timely communication of updates to employees
Onboarding & Interview Scheduling
Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires, including documentation, orientation, and system access
Schedule interviews and manage candidate communications in partnership with recruiters and hiring managers
Maintain onboarding checklists and ensure completion of all required steps including the pre-offer and post-offer
HR Operations
Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS and ensure data integrity
Assist in policy communication and respond to employee questions related to pay, benefits, and onboarding
Support compliance with labor laws, internal policies, and audit requirements
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Behavioral Science, Psychology or related field
2+ years of experience in HR operations, payroll, or benefits administration
Familiarity with HRIS and payroll systems
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Good communication and interpersonal abilities
Knowledge of labor laws and payroll regulations
Experience in high-volume or multi-site HR environments
Proficiency in Excel and data reporting tools
Travel: Some travel may be required
