Performs day to day HR generalist tasks across multiple service lines, including Employee Life Cycle, Integrated Talent, Global Mobility, Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, Payroll, People Analytics and HRIS). Supports regional operations for Japan, South Korea and Australia, ensuring accurate and timely processing of HR-related information. Provides responsive and appropriate support to internal stakeholders, contributing to seamless employee experience and operational excellence.
Your responsibilities:
Employee Life Cycle Management
- Manages ELC activities in close collaboration with HR Partner for the designated area of responsibility.
- Manages onboarding and offboarding events in close liaison with recruiting team, hiring managers and ensuring correct work permits.
- Promote self-service tools and collect feedback for continuous improvement.
HR Operational Excellence & Compliance
- Understand and act according to Group/local policies & guidelines as well as relevant local statutory or regulatory requirements, support local policies review and communication when needed.
- Ensure SOP is well documented, updated and stored in the share folder including all HR processes from onboarding to offboarding, payroll, time management etc.
- Ensuring that systems and databases have up-to-date employee and organizational information with high data quality and accuracy and providing reports where required; Monitors HR data quality and integrity (GDPR) on regular basis and ensure appropriate governance.
- Establish secure and sufficient documentation management for internal and external audit.
- Identifies and recommends enhancements and simplification of existing processes/tools based on feedback and experience with internal customers.
- Ensures that local payroll is proceeded based on defined SOP with accurate information and sufficient supporting documentation.
- Manages interface to external vendors from an operational point of view resulting in correct settlement for our employees.
Payroll & Benefits Administration
- Compile and verify payroll data; liaise with external payroll vendors.
- Manage benefit programs including pension, cafeteria plan, and insurance.
- Coordinate health and safety programs (e.g., annual checkups, stress checks).
Talent & Organizational Development
- Support onboarding, training, goal setting, performance review, and compensation cycles.
- Collaborate with global/regional teams on talent development, mobility, and engagement initiatives.
Support of the Organization:
- Delivers HR Service support to the HR community, managers and employees. Shows a customer service mind-set and a proactive way of working to serve customers with a “can do” attitude.
- Ensures tickets are being answered and issues resolved, supports execution of HR Processes and communicates to all levels of stakeholders.
- Work in close collaboration with the Hub HR Service team to ensure accurate and timely delivery of transactional HR tasks, including data entry, documentation, and system updates.
Your background:
- Education: Educated to bachelor’s degree in HR management / business administration or equivalent experience
- Experience: Several years of HR Operations experience, ideally in a global or regional shared service environment with strong focus on payrolling (with an external vendor)
- Language: Fluency in Business English is required (written and spoken), any other language is an asset
- HR Systems: Experience of handling a state-of-the-art HR Mastersystem (Workday) as well as surrounding systems such as ticket solutions and time mgmt. software
- Analytical skills: You have a natural affinity with data and numbers and feel comfortable reconciling data inside and outside of systems. You feel confident using MS Excel and establishing a reporting structure for your area of responsibility.
- Interpersonal skills: You are empathic, communicative and service-oriented. You thrive in an environment where you connect all the dots and bring in your expertise and high level of accountability.
- Stakeholder management: High level of integrity and the ability to cooperate with different stakeholders.
