We are seeking an enthusiastic and communicative intern who is eager to contribute to impactful HR communications at Lonza. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands‑on experience at the intersection of HR, communication, and organizational culture.
What you will do:
- Support HR Senior Management in preparing, structuring, and refining targeted HR communications for different internal audiences (e.g., HR community, leaders, employees)
- Summarize and translate HR strategies, initiatives, and outcomes into clear, concise, and engaging communication formats.
- Prepare and maintain HR-related content for internal platforms, in particular CoLab, ensuring information is up‑to‑date, easy to understand, and aligned with Lonza messaging, including review and approval by Group Internal Communications.
- Support external-facing HR communications, including LinkedIn posts and employer branding–related content, in close alignment with HR and Corporate Communications.
- Actively promote HR initiatives, programs, and engagement activities, helping to increase visibility, awareness, and participation across Lonza.
- Support the creation of presentations, newsletters, announcements, talking points, and briefing materials for HR leadership meetings, townhalls, and global forums, in alignment with Group Design guidelines and including review and final approval from the Brand & Design team.
- Coordinate timelines, inputs, and materials related to HR campaigns, engagement activities, and key people moments across the year.
- Review, edit, and ensure quality and consistency of HR communication materials (tone of voice, structure, branding).
- Provide general administrative and ad‑hoc support to the CHRO, the Head of HR Corporate Functions, and the wider HR leadership team as required.
- Excellent written and spoken English; additional languages are an advantage.
What we are looking for:
- Studies (BA and/or Master) in Business Administration, Human Resources, Communications, Social Sciences, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong interest in HR, internal communications, engagement, and organizational culture.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to structure complex content into clear key messages.
- Good understanding of integrated communication, understanding stakeholders’ needs (what’s in it for them) and optimal channels for where/how to reach them.
- High proficiency in MS Office, especially PowerPoint (storytelling, slide design) andWord; experience with collaboration platforms (e.g., CoLab, SharePoint) is an advantage.
- Affinity for digital communication channels and social media, including LinkedIn.
- Proactive, reliable, and well‑organized working style, with the ability to handle multiple topics in parallel and to collaborate effectively in a global, matrix organization.
