PURPOSE:

The HR Coordinator & Front Desk Administrator plays a key role in delivering seamless employee experience and ensuring smooth daily office operations. This role provides administrative and coordination support across HR processes while serving as the first point of contact for employees, candidates, and visitors. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, a welcoming demeanor, a high level of confidentiality, and a passion for supporting people.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND DELIVERABLES:


Human Resources Support

  • Coordinate the full employee life cycle including onboarding, orientation, new hire paperwork, and offboarding logistics.
  • Maintain confidential personnel files and ensure compliance with company policies and HR recordkeeping requirements.
  • Support recruitment activities such as posting jobs, scheduling interviews, preparing offer or new hire packets and corresponding with candidates to confirm New Hire Orientation date for larger groups.
  • Assist employees with benefits enrollments, employee inquiries, and escalation support.
  • Coordinate training sessions, employee events, engagement activities, and HR communications.
  • Support HR projects such as policy updates, process enhancements, data audits, and culture initiatives.

Front Desk & Office Administration

  • Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, ensuring professional and welcoming experience.
  • Manage front desk operations including answering calls, greeting guests, handling mail/packages.
  • Maintain office supplies, inventory, and general office tidiness; coordinate with vendors as needed.
  • Support meeting coordination including room bookings, refreshments, and setup.
  • Assist with office communication, emergency procedures, and facilities‑related requests.
  • Provide general administrative support to leadership and cross-functional teams, Inclusive of managing travel and expense submissions for Head of Manufacturing.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • 1–3 years of experience in HR, office administration, or a coordinator-level support role.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a service mindset.
  • High attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HRIS systems preferred.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Professional, warm, and polished front-desk presence.
  • Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

ADDITIONAL JOB DETAILS:

Base starting rate ranges from $27 to $30/hr. The base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. In addition to competitive base pay, this role includes a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your health, well-being, and financial security.
